Kevin Kelly is Vice Chairman of Options Group. Kevin is responsible for helping extending the firm’s already significant global presence. His portfolio includes collaborative strategies across the firm, expanding Options Group’s well-established footprint in financial services and technology while assisting in growing new practice areas including CEO and board practice as well as consumer, industrial and life sciences.
With more than 25 years of consulting and recruiting experience, Kevin is one of the industry's top advisors, with experience across the Americas, Europe and the Middle East. He has had a long and distinguished career in senior management positions including multiple CEO and President-level roles. Prior to his arrival at Options Group, Kevin was CEO of private cyber privacy solutions firm Halo Privacy (2015 – 2017). Before Halo, Kevin was CEO and President of North America for Asia Pulp & Paper, one of the largest pulp and paper companies in the world.
Kevin spent the bulk of his career with Heidrick & Struggles, one of the world’s preeminent recruiting and consulting firms. Kevin started with Heidrick in 2002 as a Regional Managing Partner Asia Pacific. He was promoted to the title of President International in 2005 making him responsible for all business activities in EMEA and APAC. In 2007, Kevin was named CEO of the firm and served in that capacity until 2013.
Prior to his time with Heidrick, Kevin worked in a variety of consulting roles in the U.S. and Asia, including time as a Managing Partner for PA Consulting in Tokyo (1996 – 1997).
Kevin holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (1999). He received a BS in Public Administration from George Mason University in 1988. Additionally, he is an advisor and board member of several companies and organizations as well as the Fuqua School of Business. Kevin is a frequent speaker on global issues, executive management and human capital. He has authored three books on leadership: CEO: The Low Down on the Top Job, Top Jobs: How They Are Different and What You Need to Succeed and Leading in Turbulent Times.
