About Christopher B. Cann
Christopher B. Cann is the Head of Options Group’s Amsterdam office. He leads a diverse and global practice across the buy-side in areas of fundamental and systematic trading strategies, quantitative research, specialised distribution and in new industries emerging from the information revolution.
In 2004, he founded BuysideResources Executive Search and Strategic Advisory and before that he worked for the Options Group, running the firm’s Amsterdam Financial Services business for several years.
Chris received an Executive Master’s Degree in International Management and European Relations from the University of Amsterdam (ASIR) (2000). He also holds a Master’s Degree in Media Ecology and Communications from New York University (1998) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and History from Clark University in Massachusetts (1992).
Away from the office Christopher enjoys spending time with his family, reading about history and culture. He plays bass guitar and has a passion for Jazz.
