Our client, a renowned FinTech firm is looking for a Software Developer to join their firm, based in Frankfurt. They are a software provider with clear focus on DLT- and Blockchain-based assets with the aim to transform the financial industry and massively challenge existing business models in the Fintech industry. They offer the required infrastructure to manage these new type of assets and also provide custom tailored software solutions to help master the challenges of tomorrow. The new hire would be a Crypto Assets Backend Developer within Quantitative Trading. Responsibilities for this role: • Developing software solutions and backend applications in the Crypto Assets Fintech area • Designing and implementing your own ideas given a broad focus • Meeting a high quality standard in your documentation • Support in- and externally in all regards to development and technology • Participating in application design to bring in your own ideas and solutions. Requirements for this role: • Min. 1-year work experience in IT or technology • Experience in backend, interface and API development • Interest in blockchain topics • A (Business) computer science degree or equivalent • Knowledge in some of the following technologies as well as the motivation to enhance your skills: Python, R, SQL, Scala, Git, Containerization, Cluster Management, RESTful APIs, JavaScript • Solution-focused thinking and the ability to develop software end-to-end.
